As one of skateboarding’s best ambassadors and biggest names in the sport, Amazon made Andy their first-ever athlete brand ambassador. He has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as well as 60 Minutes and was even a guest cartoon character on Nickelodeon’s Rocket Power. Andy leads a drug and alcohol free life and takes his message to kids everywhere. He introduced President Bill Clinton at the White House as part of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America campaign and was the FIRST person to skateboard in the White House. He is a founding board member of USA Skateboarding (Skateboarding’s Olympic governing body). Andy is on the board of directors for Grind for Life, a charity that helps families travel for cancer care. Eleven years ago, he started the “Clash at Clairemont” at the YMCA and has since raised over $200K for cancer through Grind For Life. He won the “American Hero” Award from the Fresh Air Fund in NYC recognizing his charitable work with youth. When Andy is not on the road skating contests and demos, he can be found at home bouncing on their Olympic sized trampoline with his wife and three kids in Encinitas CA.
